Welcome to the new school year.  I can't wait to get started.  We will have a lot of fun this year in math class.  Numbers are all around us and I am so excited that we get to spend all year working with them.

• Place Value Project Due - Monday Sept. 14, 2009
• Math Test (Place Value Concepts) - Tuesday Sept. 15, 2009: Skills tested will include the following:

        * identifying unit vocabulary words * using place value to read, write, compare, and order whole     

          numbers through the 999,999,999,999 * using place value to read, write, compare, and order

          decimals through the thousandths place * plotting values on a number line
